Unlike the original series, the second series vehicles do not have an alternate disguise, and do not transform. They usually remain stored aboard the New Godphoenix when not in use.

Type: Warship Chief Weapons: 50mm Vulcan cannon, Super Bird Missiles, Kagaku Nimpo Hinotori (firebird transformation) Top Speeds: Mach 5 in flight; 60 knots under water Notes: The New Godphoenix is spaceworthy with special boosters attached. Also equipped with an autopilot, an R2D2-type robot named Pimer. This enables Ryu to join the rest of the team on missions instead of being left behind. Like the original Godphoenix, the New Godphoenix must have all five members' vehicles in place before it can shift into Hinotori (firebird) mode. "Head" portion of the craft folds up and over when the Eagle Sharp is launched. |
