- Tatsunoko Productions' Website offers pictures and synopses of all three Gatchaman series by the studio that made the show. Check out some of their other series as well. Happy 40th Anniversary, Tatsunoko!
- The Tatsunoko Fan Club USA offers special articles and info on Gatchaman and other Tatsunoko series as well as bulletins on the TFC-sponsored Gatchacon events at the San Diego Comic Con.
- Julieann Adolf's Battle of the Planets Page is a treasure trove of BotP information. In addition to the character and mech descriptions, Julie also provides us with Sandy Frank's production notes, an extensive list of BotP merchandise and other miscellaneous tidbits. Highly recommended!
- Carolyn Kaufman's Transmute! Gatchaman, BotP and G-Force page offers a dazzling presentation and tons of downloads. You'll be there for hours!
- Trudy Barth has put together a great page on Battle of the Planets in Holland. Clear, concise, and fast-loading, in both English and Dutch. Check it out!
- Ang's Links List offers the definitive list of Gatchaman links. If you don't find it here, she probably has it listed.
- Ayako's Production Diaries offer unique synopses of individual Gatchaman episodes, in English, from a Japanese fan's perspective. Sometimes caustic, sometimes personal, sometimes hilarious and always informative, the Diaries introduce you to the concept of "nose cola." She also has an excellent Japanese section, Ameris Intelligence Report, with detailed info on the non-Japanese versions of Gatchaman. I highly recommend the editorials and Japanese language lessons on Ayako's personal pages.
- And then there's Veronika's site, Gatchaman.com (Ooh, wish I'd gotten that domain name!), with its treasure trove of screen grabs and episode synopses.
- Alara Rogers' text-only "Gatchaguru's Page" is overflowing with info, from translations of planning sheets and scripts to her own personal reviews and fan fiction. There's also a bonus for Berg Katse fans: a gallery of exclusive Katse fan art and screen shots.
For more dealers sites, visit the "Getting Gatchaman Stuff" section of this site.
- Gatchfanfic.com: This site has taken over after Lori's Corner went down. It has taken a lot of the fic from Lori's site--with author permission. If you miss your favorite author's work, it hasn't been put up yet, or the author hasn't given her permission. Update for May 2007: The site's going automated now, so authors can submit their own work and new fiction will be appearing much more frequently. Recommended.
- Alara Rogers, "the other Gatch guru," has her own fanfic site as well as "Cross Karakoram," which is dedicated to tales of Galactors and Spectrans. If you are a fan of Berg Katse, this is the place to go.
- The fan art and fiction archive of the Condor Shrine contains my own writing, all based on canon Gatchaman, including the epic that bridged the two years between the first and second series: "Out of the Shadows."
- Miya's Loft has a growing fanart gallery (some samples of which you saw in the Gatchaman Gallery on this site), fanfic, personal POV on the series, and even the "Church of Condor Joe." You'll see some Mary Sue stuff here, as well the "Mary Sue Litmus Test."
- In addition to her award-winning Buffy and Angel fanfic and original fiction, Sharon Jane Smith has written some truly unorthodox and funny Gatch fics: "Kagaku Ninjatai Garbagemen," and "The Blind Date that Ate Utoland" (coming soon). Her site, "Chocolate & Chains," is very much worth a look.
- Want to write Gatchaman/BotP fanfic and need someone to beta-read your work? Check out Sal's beta site for a list of beta readers and helpful pointers. And if you're not feeling too confident about your stuff, compare it to what you'll find on this (non-Gatchaman) fanfiction site, and I guarantee you'll feel a lot better.
- And of course, there's the BotP and Gatchaman fiction available at fanfiction.net.
- Sayuri Washio has this site with some excellent art and fanfic and a BBS (Japanese). Mostly Japanese with some English.
- Terri-Anne's Fanfic of the Planets site has relocated, but is home to some stellar writing.
- Check out the latest works and activities of a very successful member of the original Gatchaman production staff, Yoshitaka Amano. You may recognize his name from his other works, such as Final Fantasy, Angel's Egg and Vampire Hunter D. There are some nice Gatchaman works on his site as well. As a matter of fact, portraits of the Gatchaman characters have figured prominently in his most recent shows in New York and Los Angeles.
- Telno Virus is a homepage featuring icons of the 70's... including Gatchaman and other Tatsunoko hit shows. Features an excellent fanart gallery and "cosplay" (costuming) page in Japanese and English. Heh, love the handles, folks.
- "Q Chara Club" is a gallery site with anime cheesecake art, including Jun. Japanese only, though you can follow the pictures and romaji.
- Lew Wernham shows off his flair for fan art in GFive's Gatchaman Gallery.
- Utoland Chronicle is one of my favorite Japanese sites, hosted by a friend who was living and working in California. In Japanese only, but click around to see the excellent art!
- The Gatchamaniac Home at anime-cel.com has a gallery of Gatchaman cels, many first-series, all nicely arranged with pencil drawings and screen grabs for comparison and a wonderful retro control panel. I think I hate this guy.
